What better way is there to celebrate your big day than with a crocheted wedding cake!

These little cakes are easy and fun to make, and this free pattern has lots of photos to guide you.

The design of these cakes is based on a tiered wedding cake, and each layer is decorated with crocheted “ribbons” in a contrast color. Customize your cake with your choice of flowers – rose bunches or sunflowers.

These would make great wedding favors or table decorations.

A fun and personalized gift for your wedding guests to keep and remember!

2. Crochet Wedding Favor Bags

These small bags are the perfect size for your wedding favour bags.

Combining hessian and mandala crochet I think makes this project unique! You’ll start by crocheting a mandala in thread. Once you’ve made a small hessian pouch, the next step is to sew the mandala on before adding a button to secure.

It’s a really easy process that gives a classy and elegant result don’t you think?

3. Crochet Wedding Favor Sachet Pattern

This is a free crochet accessory pattern made with light weight (DK) yarn.

It’s easy to crochet with single crochet stitches (UK double crochet).  The closure is simply ribbon threaded through giving an elegant look.

It will be easy to match the colour of the ribbon with your chosen colour palette.

Measuring 3 x 3 in. (7.5 x 7.5) cm, the perfect size for your wedding favor bags.

4. Flowered Wedding Box Favor

This wedding crochet pattern is an intermediate crochet skill level (or give it a try if you’re an ambitious beginner!).

The finished wedding dolls are about 9” tall.

6. Crochet Mini Wedding Bears

These bears are 4.5” high sat down – how cute do they look!

Once you’ve crocheted the bear (instructions on a different link) you’ll make these wedding accessories:

  • Top Hat
  • bow tie
  • bouquet of flowers
  • veil

Crocheted in Worsted/Aran weight yarn.  A smaller hook size (4mm) is used to make sure the stitches are tighter.

This free pattern is a great introduction to amigurumi.

7. Crochet Love Heart

If you’re looking for a crochet wedding keepsake for your guests, I think hearts make the perfect gift.

What would make this keepsake even more personal and unique is to glue the heart to a piece of card with a special message.

Crochet hearts are a quick and easy crochet project but if you don’t have time, you could buy them already made and request personalised text.

You’ll find more crochet hearts in my roundup of free patterns.

Lightweight and lacy, it will take the chill off your shoulders as you go through the day and evening.

Worked from the top down and using double crochet (US single crochet) treble crochet (US double crochet), crossed treble stitches (US crossed double stitches) and half treble crochet (US half double crochet), you’ll have this hooked up in no time.

Great for bridesmaids too!

This bouquet wrap measures 6” (15 cm) high x 8” (20.5 cm) wide.

An easy free pattern, this is THE perfect wedding accessory for the members of your wedding party carrying bouquets of fresh flowers.

14. Easy Crochet Lace Bridal Garter

This easy crochet lace wedding garter is beautiful.

Delicate lace details, and a simple flower with pearl centre give this a vintage or Victorian era feel that’s perfect for country, or romantic style weddings.

  • sc = single crochet

The garter fits up to a 18” leg (measuring circumference 1″ above the knee) although there are instructions for how to make it larger.

If you prefer a PDF to download, this pattern is also available to purchase on LoveCrafts.

15. Boutique Flower Headband

Not specifically designed for weddings, but I couldn’t resist adding this flower headband.

There are step by step descriptions (and a photo tutorial in the instructions as well).

Approximate measurements for each age (from baby to adult) are also included.

Materials:

  • small amount of yarn in three colours – white, green and grey (the pattern uses 100% cotton DK weight or LIGHT 3 yarn, but it can be made using sport weight or worsted weight yarn as well)
  • crochet hook 3.25mm (D), or size you feel comfortable to work with the yarn of your choice
  • tapestry needle

Stitches US crochet terms:

  • st(s) – stitch(es)
  • ch – chain stitch
  • sc – single crochet
  • dc – double crochet
  • tr – treble crochet
  • sl st – slip stitch
  • sp – space

This easy flower headband is a glamorous accessory for the bride and I think it’s suitable for anyone in the wedding party.

If you’re looking for an easier flower headband, this collection of boho crochet patterns has a simpler pattern.

16. Flower Crochet Bracelet Pattern

Another crochet pattern that isn’t designed specifically for a bride but I think would make a gorgeous accessory for either the bride or bridesmaids is this flower bracelet.

Worked in DK cotton, it won’t stretch out of shape and will feel cool on your wrist.

It is worked as a base piece with a spray of flowers and leaves stitched onto the base.  Measure the foundation chain of the base around your wrist for fit and you can make it bigger by crocheting a longer loop to close the bracelet.

Change the colours of the petals to suit your colour palette in this free and easy pattern or keep them the same for a whimsical and cheerful look.

This bracelet would make a gorgeous crochet wedding souvenir.

17. Crochet Flower Bouquet Pattern

I think this crochet tiny bouquet would look great as buttonholes on the lapel of a tux or suit jacket.

Separated into four patterns for the different elements, you could choose to crochet just the baby’s breath … although all four together do look fabulous.

What would make it even better is crocheting a sample of the flowers in your bouquet!

18. Wedding Gnomes

Two crocheted gnomes - one in white and one in black with a with shirt and bow tie joined together with two crocheted rings handing at the end of their hats
Those Yellow Things

This crochet gnome pattern is adorable!

The bride and groom are attached at the hands and tips of the hats. You could easily swap this to make two brides or two grooms. Or even leave off attaching them together.

The pattern is worked in both continuous and joined rounds and includes instructions for making the rings.

If you wanted to add hair, this free pattern includes instructions for how to do this.

I’m thinking you could use surface crochet to add the couple’s names to make a fab crochet wedding gift.

  • Finished size: Total height is about 10” tall, each gnome is about 4” x 4” big

This pattern is a free PDF download via Ravelry.

19. Crochet Wedding Bouquet

A wedding bouquet is crocheted in different colours resting on a chair
Laleh Crochet

The colours of this crochet wedding bouquet give such a romantic vibe.

It would be easy to change the colours to suit your wedding theme!

This is a paid pattern.

The pattern includes:

  1. Diagram /chart
  2. Detailed photos step by step
  3. Written description in English included
  4. 3 (three) video tutorial on how to make the flowers, how to attach the flower to floral wire, and how to decorate the holder

20. Crochet Wedding Horseshoe Pattern

A horseshoe is laid flat. It is crocheted in an olive colour with a spray of crocheted roses at the bottom
Wilky Woolie Designs

This is the best horseshoe I could find during my research – the pattern is paid (at the time of writing this roundup only 1.80).

If you use Stylecraft Special DK and a 3.5mm hook, your horseshoe will be approxmately 16.5cm high and 15cm wide.

I’m thinking a crochet wedding table decoration or even a motif to add to a gift. What do you think? The designer also suggests adding numbers to the centre of the horseshoe for an anniversary gift.

If you’re looking for a horseshoe that doesn’t have any decoration, this free crochet wedding horseshoe pattern might suit you better.

I hope my crochet wedding ideas have inspired you.

Happy Crocheting!
