Welcome to Day 1 of the Self-Reflection Challenge!
Over the next 7 days, you’ll get to try different ways to learn more about yourself and figure out what you really want moving forward.
Today, we’re starting with something simple but super powerful: a brain dump (also called “stream of consciousness”).
It just means writing down everything that’s swirling around in your head — no overthinking, no editing — just getting it all out. This helps you clear your mind and start noticing how you really feel.
How to Do a Brain Dump
It’s easy: grab a notebook, open a doc or use the free journal (link below) and start writing whatever pops into your head.
You can write about what’s going on today, how you’ve been feeling lately, any struggles you’re dealing with, things you’re excited about — literally anything.
Don’t worry about spelling or making it sound perfect. Let your thoughts flow naturally, even if they jump around a bit.
Just try to keep the focus on you and your life right now.

Today’s Challenge
Write a brain dump about how you feel about yourself and your life today.
Try to stay in the present — don’t stress about the past or future right now.
Questions to Help You Get Started
- Where are you in your life right now?
- How are you handling things at the moment?
- If you could change one thing about your life, what would it be?
Pro Tip: Don’t overthink it! Your journal is a judgment-free zone. Even if your thoughts feel messy or random, that’s totally normal — it just means you’re being real with yourself. The more honest you are, the more helpful this will be!
