Are you struggling to stick to a consistent self-care routine? You’re not alone. Finding time for my own self-care has been challenging at times with life’s demands. That’s why I’ve created a self-care bingo card — a fun, flexible way to make caring for yourself a priority without the overwhelm. 

Using this card alongside tips to overcoming my barriers has really worked for me.  I wanted to share with you so you can try it out for yourself.

Why Self-Care Bingo Works

Traditional self-care challenges can feel rigid or repetitive, but a bingo card turns your routine into a playful and motivating game. Instead of following a strict schedule, you get the freedom to choose activities that suit your mood and circumstances.

Here’s why I’ve found using a bingo card for self-care a game-changer:

  1. Adds Fun to Your Routine
    Turning self-care into a game removes the pressure and adds an element of enjoyment. I guarantee you’ll find yourself wanting to tick off squares just to complete a row!
  2. Makes Choosing Activities Easier
    Having self care bingo ideas ready to go means you don’t need to spend time deciding how to care for yourself.
  3. Encourages Flexibility
    The card lets you pick activities based on how much time or energy you have that day. Only have five minutes? Choose a quick square.
  4. Small Steps Lead to Big Wins
    Many of the bingo prompts are simple, achievable tasks that contribute to your well-being without requiring huge time commitments.

How to Use the Self-Care Bingo Card

  1. Download Your Free Card
    Download the Self-Care Bingo Card here! The bingo card is a Google sheet, so you can use it online or offline on any device. Alternatively, you can print it out and pin it up somewhere visible to keep it top of mind.
  2. Set a Timeframe
    Decide whether you want to complete the card over a week, a month, or at your own pace.
  3. Pick Activities That Fit Your Day
    Whether it’s a five-minute breathing exercise or a 20-minute walk, there’s something for every schedule.
  4. Check Off Your Activity
    Once you’ve completed your chosen activity, click in the check box on the Google sheet.  The activity will strike through and the box will change colour to show you’ve done it (see image below). Upgrade in my Etsy shop and also receive the PDF to print off and check off.
  5. Celebrate Your Wins
    Don’t forget to reward yourself when you complete a row (it can be vertical, horizontal or diagonal). Self-care is about feeling good, not just checking boxes!

Self-Care Bingo Ideas

The bingo card is already filled with self-care activities but you can change it and swap them out for your own. 

I’ve made a list of extra self-care bingo ideas.

  • Dance to your favourite playlist
  • Write down a positive affirmation
  • Spend 10 minutes outside in fresh air
  • Create a vision board or mood board
  • Try a breathing exercise (like 4-7-8 breathing)
  • Explore a hobby for 30 minutes
  • Practice mindful breathing while walking
  • Try a new stretching routine or yoga pose
  • Write down one goal for the week
  • Treat yourself to something small and joyful
