The First 48 Hours Review

I was simply impressed and amazed by this book. I rushed through The First 48 Hours because I just had to know the ending, which thankfully was not predictable.

A cop, a lawyer, killers, criminals, a kidnap group, a daughter, and 48 hours to protect the victim.

I enjoyed that this story was told by three very different characters. Each part of their story was crucial and intriguing. I spent my time trying to decipher what was going on and why.

The style of the writing is clear, engaging with well-written characters. I was intrigued from the beginning of the story until the end and demolished each twist and turn hungrily.

With marvellous tension and a great build up to the end, this is a fantastic crime thriller.
