FOUR FRIENDS. THREE ENEMIES. TWO TRAGEDIES. ONE TERRIBLE TRUTH.

A small English town is rocked by the disappearance of a local woman, Tina. As the search continues, someone is targeting her former best friends for revenge. Lauren, Jess, Claire. They all hide secrets. Who knows what they did? Who’s watching them? The truth is stranger and far more sinister than they can ever imagine.

A dark, twisty thriller which will grip you until the very last page.

Book Review

We Watch You is the story of four friends who have been close since they were at school. One of them, Tina, goes missing and when things start happening to the remaining three, Lauren, Jess and Claire, they are convinced that Tina is out for revenge as it becomes clear that they haven’t always treated her well.

No-one has any idea where Tina has gone and why. Each girl’s life begins to unravel spectacularly, with shocking revelations and devastating consequences. The question is why is she doing this to them all now?

Told through the eyes of Lauren and with some chapters in the form of some of Tina’s blogposts as well as letters from Claire to her deceased parents, as a reader we really get to build a picture of their lives from when they were younger to the present day.

Lauren is a likeable character and being autistic we see the world as she perceives it which I thought was interesting.

I couldn’t guess what the outcome was going to be for the girls. The twists and turns were many and by the time it ended I was left quite shocked as the genre switched all of a sudden.

The title of the book becomes relevant as the watchers are revealed.

A fascinating and interesting read that I enjoyed very much.
