Book Review
Caring Conservationists Who Are Changing Our Planet is a wonderfully informative picture book for children about the amazing people that have or are helping our planet by looking after animal and plants species.
I shared this book with my five year old son who was excited to see Gerald Durrell mentioned as we recently visited Jersey zoo. As I read to him, he told me ‘I love this book mummy.’
The illustrations are vivid with interesting text boxes to learn more about each person or specific species.
Each double page is dedicated to each conservationist. I loved that there are ideas for children to follow on each page.
I think this is a great book for home and school.
As a school librarian I would love to see this book in our school library.
A lovely read.
