Clare Greene and Sam Wilson are getting married and everyone in Little Bramble is excited for the event of the year. But Clare and Sam are busy people and have left organising their wedding to the last minute.

Luckily, wedding planner Hazel Campbell has recently moved to the village. She had what she thought was a wonderful life in Edinburgh with a successful business, a loving fiance and her own wedding coming up. But when she caught her groom-to-be in bed with her best friend she fled, leaving everyone and everything behind.

Little Bramble seems like the ideal place for Hazel to start over. As she throws herself into planning the perfect country village winter wedding, she starts to find herself again. And soon she realises that a second chance at happiness might just be on the cards . . .

Book Review

This is a gorgeous and comforting festive read.

I tend to read either historical or psychological thrillers but I love to break it up with a warm and uplifting story and The Country Village Winter Wedding is exactly that.

Wedding planner Hazel Campbell leaves Edinburgh after finding her fiancé and best friend in bed together. After her heartbreak she remembered a childhood holiday so she ventured a new life and career in Little Bramble.

Other characters include her clients Sam and Clare- who left their wedding plans to the last minute and brother and sister Jack and Bella. They provide Hazel with a newfound confidence to forget her sorry past.

I loved the village feel of Little Bramble, their community spirit provides Hazel with a positive new start in her life.

A lovely stocking filler to be enjoyed with a hot chocolate by a roaring fire.

A funny, charming story.
