His and Hers by Alice Feeney is published by HQ and available to purchase in digital, paperback and audiobook formats.

If there are two sides to every story, someone is always lying…

Jack: Three words to describe my wife: Beautiful. Ambitious. Unforgiving.
Anna: I only need one word to describe my husband: Liar.

When a woman is murdered in Blackdown village, newsreader Anna Andrews is reluctant to cover the case. Anna’s ex-husband, DCI Jack Harper, is suspicious of her involvement, until he becomes a suspect in his own murder investigation.

Someone is lying, and some secrets are worth killing to keep.

Wow an addictive psychological read!

This book is told in two main parts; his, Jack Harper a Detective Chief Inspector and her, Anna Andrews a news presenter for the BBC. The third part is the murderer giving glimpses into their actions throughout the book.

Anna is enjoying her job until Cat Jones the presenter who left on maternity leave returns. Unfortunately Anna is back to her old job and finds herself reporting a local murder in Blackdown, Surrey, her hometown.

When Jack turns up to the murder scene he quickly recognises the body and realises he needs to work hard to keep this secret. As Anna arrives to report the crime she also knows the victim.

An interesting thriller with plenty of twists and turns. I really enjoy this genre and even though I worked out the final twist I thoroughly enjoyed the story until the end.

A great read and highly recommended.
