Celebrating another year

Jera’s Jamboree is 7 today! and I hope you’ll join in celebrating with me.

celebrating 7 years of blogging

Life has, of course, changed over those 7 years.  My sons have completed their education and become adults and I’ve (relatively recently) reduced my hours at work giving me time to rediscover many things. We’ve celebrated successes, shared love, shared laughter and sadly shared grief and tears.

I’ve seen friends from my early days of book blogging close their blogs, having found another way to share their love of reading. New blogs have started, older blogs have grown and changed.  New features have started, older features have stopped.  Before cutting back on the amount I posted here last year, I was getting burnt out and feeling the pressure.  Reading has been a constant through those years but I did lose my enjoyment in writing a review.  Now the pressure is off though I’m loving sharing my thoughts with you!  I can’t recommend mood reading enough 🙂

I hope you’ll join in celebrating with me.   I’m making the most of half term next week with posting a giveaway a day, here on the blog.  You’ll have to wait to see the goodies I’ve bought … but I know you’ll love them!

I blogged about 2017 during December so I’m not going over old information here.  I do want to say thank you for your friendship and your support.  You are very much appreciated 😀  I’m also shouting out to all the publishers and everyone involved in the book world in whatever capacity.  You rock.

Here’s to another exciting year of blogging on the horizon.

celebrating

I've been blogging about my interests at Jera's Jamboree for 8+ years. My love of reading, crocheting and being out in nature are all things that help me unwind from my role as an Inclusion Lead in a primary school. I'm passionate about early help and sharing strategies with families to empower and help build resilience. I'm a member of of my Local Authority's Early Help Operational Board, working alongside other professionals to instigate change and growth.
