With a holiday coming I’ve been looking for inspiration for activities to do indoors.

We’ve already been completing jigsaw puzzles and catching up on screen time with Netflix and Prime. I’ve still been able to concentrate on reading and I’ve completed a couple of crochet projects. But I wanted the holiday to be a change in routine!

Pete has lots of small maintenance jobs lined up for outside and we’ve managed to order some bedding plants online, but what if the weather is awful …

I’ve loved coming up with ideas for activities to do indoors!

9 Activities To Do Indoors

  • Learn a new craft
  • Find and share a podcast
  • Learn to play a new card game
  • Read a new to you digital magazine
  • Learn a new language
  • Take a virtual tour
  • Watch a virtual play or show
  • Join a free online art class
  • Make a fairy garden

The activities can be done on your own or with your family and they’re suitable for most ages. And best of all, nearly all are free! I was so excited to share them with my family.

If you search YouTube or using your favourite browser you’ll be able to find activities linked to my choices.

I've been blogging about my interests at Jera's Jamboree for 9+ years. My love of reading, crocheting, being out in nature and positive psychology are all things that help me unwind from my role as an Inclusion Lead in a primary school.
