Having experienced panic attacks/anxiety since my teens and received Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Talk Therapy myself, through the years I’ve found strategies that work for me. Over the past couple of years a close family member has struggled with mental/emotional wellness and I’ve been able to share my own journey which has helped (and continue to helps) them.
I have created a free workbook on Positive Mind Positive Lifestyle which I want to share with you. The free workbook contains strategies to help you to take back control and live mindfully. I’m adding free journal pages to the free workbook which you will find under the ‘blog’ tab with the accompanying article on how to use the additional journal page.
The free workbook is a resource which I hope you will try and be able to use as part of your coping strategies.
Check out the free mindfulness resources I shared on Jera's Jamboree in March. Linked in that post are apps for mindfulness.
In my role as Inclusion Lead at a primary school, the past couple of years I have noticed a huge increase in social, mental and emotional health needs with our children. Is this because we are becoming more open and able to talk more? or is it about our lifestyle and society? Whatever the reason, emotional health is a barrier to life and learning for children as much as for adults. I feel quite passionate about this! which led to me qualifying as a Youth Mental Health First Aider and studying for a Diploma in Mindfulness for Children. My plan moving forward is to also add free resources that you will be able to use with your child/children on Positive Mind Positive Lifestyle.
Subscribe to receiving posts on Positive Mind Positive Lifestyle and you won’t miss any updates/posts.
Kate from V Family Fun says about the free workbook:
I love the relaxing colours and dots, it feels like a bubbly, cheerful, warm read. I also love the journal pages as it gives you the chance to put into practice the exercises you’re reading about. The writing, information and advice made me feel more positive just reading it.
I would love to know which strategies work for you and if you have any suggestions, please let me know. Email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Let’s share this journey together.
