Release - a poem about Letting Go — RELEASE

**Connected, bound**
**The rope is thick**
**Release will not be**
**Very quick**

**The ties are strong**
**Have served their use**
**The time has come**
**They must be loose**
**Into darkness**
**Into pain**
**My inner work**
**Is not in vain**

**Spiralling, round**
**The rope let go**
**Now it is time**
**For life to flow**

**The love is there**
**But not fierce**
**Gentle, warm**
**It does not pierce**

**Release, unbound**
**No rope holds**
**Love flows freely**
**Gently in its folds.**
